"The location was perfect. We fell in love with Castiglione de Garfagnana and the view from our accommodation was spectacular. We also loved the sounds of the church and cow bells! The accommodation was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed daily walks to the village for morning cappuccini and exploring the local villages and countryside by car. Unfortunately, the drawback of the area is that the beaches are mostly fully reserved for the entire season by Italians from the city and so it is almost impossible to get a place in any of the beaches even or of peak season"
