"We were amazed at the property from the gorgeous open lobby to the poolside bedroom suite to the welcoming beach and pools. The specialty restaurants (Brazilian, Asian, French) kept us delighted from one dinner to the next with gourmet food served to perfection! Every staff member from housekeeping to water servers to front desk receptionists were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The highlight of our relaxing time by the pool and beach was clearly the entertainment group, including, Jarrol, Angelo, and Roberto! They got us to play games, Zumba, participate in dance lessons and made us feel special. Please tip the entertainment! They work hard and are amazing. We also went on two extra excursions arranged by the hotel in order to explore the island: Saona Island (turquoise waters and starfish!) and Samara (horseback riding to a waterfall and then a beach!) Both were full days but worth it! We don't advise taking a taxi out of the resort other than a transfer because the resort has so much planned. Our hot water wasn't as hot as we are used to, but oh well. We were treated like princesses and we would come back!"
