"Our stay began with welcoming staff providing us with thorough information regarding our stay, gifts and a yummy welcome drink. The accommodations were excellent, we especially liked the shower overlooking the jungle. We only stayed 2 nights but did get a chance to do the mixology class and snorkel with the chef. Both were excellent. My favorite was waking up to the noises of the jungle that included howler monkeys and birds. So peaceful and a great adventure. "

"Florette was wonderful and the breakfast that was included was fantastic. Loved my comfortable room that has everything I needed, including hot plate, microwave and fridge. You can walk to the center of town where everything is, along the waterfront in 10 minutes. I took the ferry to Guatemala one day. There's no air conditioning (typical in Belize), but this isn't a problem since you're right on the ocean and there are plenty of fans. What was a problem is there were no screens on two windows, and the traditional windows are venetian-style slats, so they don't seal. I was covered with mosquito bites every morning. This in a country where Dengue is an issue. It's a wonderful place, just confirm the room you're in has screens on ALL the windows."

"Coral house is such a gem that I actually don’t want to share! But as I do want the to stay in business… It is a serene, well built hotel on the water with shady spots and set up to catch the breeze. The hotel serves breakfast; continental is free, but a made to order breakfast is also available for a reasonable fee. The pool is a lap pool and the thatched cabana was a perfect place to relax with coffee. Did I mention the comfortable beds? The staff, including Greta the cat, is helpful and very accommodating. I will be back!"
