"I had a fantastic stay at Shanti Hostel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The rooms were clean, the beds were cozy, and the common areas had a great vibe—perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The location on Taewan Road is super convenient, with plenty of cafes and attractions nearby. Plus, the hostel had great amenities, including fast Wi-Fi and a chill outdoor space. "It was alright as far as hostels go. Unfortunately during my stay the bathroom and the elevator both were out of order - I decided to end my stay early and get a room at a hotel. It was clean, though!"

"The clean and mop floors everyday even your room, they change the towel everyday and even clean your bed. located in city centre, not too far from airport and a lot of Cafe and restaurant around. After all it's very recommended for you to stay here when traveling to Chiang Mai."

"The hostel has a good location and friendly staff. About 5 minutes walk from the public bus that runs to/from the airport as well as the old city. The trendy Nimman neighbourhood is closeby as well. Unfortunately, I felt that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I moved to a different hostel because of this. "

"Love the service! My sister left her camera on the table outside and they were able to return it back to us. Clean rooms except bathroom due to other use of other guest. We hate our beds!! It’s so old and worn out that mattress are rough and springs are poking out back that made us uncomfortable and unable to sleep properly. The staff are very friendly and that’s a big plus. "

"We stayed at the Cmor 13 nights. We found the hotel staff extremely helpful and very friendly, the hotel was always spotless as was our room when we arrived and everyday after cleaning. Location is excellent close to Maya shopping centre also quite a few local markets. Restaurants around the area are fantastic huge range to choose from good idea to google first and check reviews. Buffet breakfast was always very tasty and filling. We will definitely be back thank you once again to the staff of the Cmor."

Memorable Staff and Exceptional Staff

"Our stay at the Merchant Villa was very pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The property grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the on site wine bar, restaurant, and coffee shop. Upon checking out, we both received a gift bag with some good snacks. Thank you to all the staff at the Merchant Villa for making such a memorable stay!"
