"this is a large, tranquil property very near the entrance of portola redwoods state park. there are 3 cabins, one occupied permanently in the front by a friendly and kind man ,Michael ( and his mom),who are keeping an eye out on everything. just behind the front cabin, there is a large 3 bedroom cabin which was our base for the park, along with a tiny ,but cozy cabin that was behind it, with plenty of room to stretch out for everybody. "We had a really bad reservation with website, was so annoying and frustrating, was a really bad experience for payment, fire place out was out of gas and we are not satisfied because I just chose this place for the fire outside, I sent the message but nobody did not respond and they have to refund a part of the money. However the rest was good. "

"Easy access to beach, dining and other shops. Plenty of parking. Easy access to event we were in town to attend. Carpets need cleaning or replacing. I asked for ground floor but had to climb stairs to 2nd floor. No elevator and I'm a senior with bad knees."

"Let’s start off with the bed… this was very comfortable, so soft & fluffy. The pillows were the same. The bathtub was very deep if you enjoy taking baths and just relaxing. The closet looked like an entire room itself. We were able to store our luggage’s without them getting in the way. The safe is convenient to have there as well. The staff is amazing, we interacted with 7 different employees during our stay and all of them are just wonderful and make you feel comfortable. Thank you again! "

"It was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the room spacious and very nice. It feels very safe. My only very slight complaint is the reviews stating it was noisy at night is true. It’s more that you can just hear people in the hallway as the doors are thin. "
