"Casa da Carmen is a lovely property, everything is brand new and functions well. The breakfast was beautiful and the service very attentive. The hot tub and the views are incredible. Although, we weren’t aware there would be a charge (10€ per person) to use the hot tub. "Superb family-run boutique hotel with amazing hospitality, pool and views. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, and Paolo, the owner was engaging, accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was among the best and most complete. The daily guided hike was a nice surprise on our trip and Mauricio was an excellent leader. We enjoyed our stay so much that we cancelled another booking to add 3 days. "

"2 outlets in the entire suite to charge your device, (And no outlets in the bedroom) not comfortable pillows or sheets, no espresso machine, no English TV channels. "Wonderful hotel and an excellent breakfast. The owners are super people and treat their guests as family. We had a mountain-facing balcony view that was absolutely stunning. Some guests mentioned the WiFi and it’s true that it comes and goes in and out; however, downstairs in the bar area, the signal is very strong. So, if you plan on hiding out in your room and streaming videos, etc, don’t count on it. If that’s not the case, we highly recommend this hotel. "

"We found the location to be ideal and convenient for the Aldstadt. The hotel is superbly placed and in easy reach of the main railway. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful in range and quality with as many double espressos as we could handle! The spa was of excellent quality with great ease of use being on a booking system."

"Our stay was delightful, definitely we would come back again. The hotel is amazing, is clean, the breakfast has a lot of options, and if you are travelling early they will prepare your breakfast for take away. The rooms are very comfortable, the views are amazing to the mountains. Is a hotel perfect for couples, families, solo travelers. Is close to many places of interest like restaurants , the city center, coffee shops, shops, and the cable car. Easy to find from the train station. Looking forward to come again ☺️"
