"It was a lovely home near the Alcalá, the pedestrian street that ends at the zocolo or main square. Near many places to visit and shop, very convenient location. The bedrooms are spacious. The colonial kitchen has modern appliances but isn’t set up well to do much cooking - easier to eat most meals out. Because it’s on a main street it was noisy, but that is to expected with its convenient location. Communication with Moises was easy and responsive. We enjoyed our stay"

"We all enjoyed our stay at Casa Crespo. Everything was exactly as described. I loved that all the Oaxacan highlights were in walking distance but it was easy to get a taxi when we wanted. It was located on a quiet street far enough from the louder parts of town. We would definitely return to this home on future visits. "

As a female who booked the room, the only time he addressed me instead of my fiance was if i was solo and when I paid him. He also was talking poorly about the femal employee who was actually extremely helpful calling her stupid to us. "Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Casita del Abuelo. It’s a lovely house and was immaculate when we arrived. Jorge, the host, was very attentive and went above and beyond to welcome us and address our needs. The neighborhood is very pleasant and we were able to walk to a couple different breakfast spots in the morning. We mostly took taxis to and from the Centro but also found the bus to be quite convenient. All in all, we highly recommend La Casita del Abuelo."
