"Not a hotel. 2 separate 'bungalows' with a common area kitchen, pool and palapa. We did not have a car but found a local in Playa El Tunco who knew the location and found us a driver. Could be a real challenge for first time arrivals (no sign). Spanish speaking caretakers live nearby eager to please. Bit of a hike to El Tunco, plus 100 or so steps to the bungalows. Very dark at night hiking from town. Would be better for small group self catering. Price too high for what you get."

"Stayed two nights during Semana Santa. The place is directly on a nice beach, but once you are there, you are there and there aren't any other bars and restaurants around. You'll need a car to reach it. The owner was very attentive, asking numerous times if we liked the place. It has a certain charm but I can't say that it has much in the way of comfort. For the price we paid, you'd expect some beach lounge chairs with cushions and chairs that aren't falling apart. Breakfast was...

"Everything was exactly as seen in the pictures and as described. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The area is safe and many places to dine and swim. There are many different beaches in the area to choose from. Location was easy to find as staff sent me a short video showing me how to access their property. In addtion my family that lives in ES was able to visit me at no additional cost. I highly recommend staying at El Xalli."

"My wife and I had an exceptional time staying at Coco surf Village. The property is beautiful and maintained very well.Aura the staff went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations with customer service. I utilize a wheelchair and could not find any hotels that could accommodate me, the staff at this hotel worked with me to ensure that I could use the pool, that the cabana was as accessible as possible. They even built a ramp so that I could use the cabanas, they installed it within a day...
