Professionally managed for maximum hospitality. We are only a phone call away. There is a lockbox to the right side of the entrance for guest arrivals not meeting host. Access code is provided. To lock the doors when leaving the apartment you must turn handle up to the left while turning key.

The 2 bed, 2 bath was just as descibed in the lovely neighborhood of Ocean Park. The hosts communicated clearly and the space and location were wonderful.

Wonderful experience!
This property is an excellent location for San Juan and Puerto Rico. The area is safe, upscale, perfectly located between Condado and Isla Verde and a short jaunt to the old city. Scooters are everywhere to rent, always within a block of the unit. Hector and his property assistant, Danette, were both very attentive in all respects. The unit has a very large outdoor deck and depending on the time of day you could observe the sunrise, sunset, or just sit pleasantly outside. The only entrance to the unit is in the rear of the building up a staircase. The external swing doors have double hook latching mechanisms, an extra security feature but may require a day or two to master. The unit has a well equipped kitchen and washer dryer, but no dishwasher. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels are readily available Entry to the beach area is 3 short blocks away, but, as is common for all the beaches on the north coast not in sheltered bays/coves, it is often windy. Parking for the unit is immediately adjacent, never a problem. The unit could use some ambient lighting other than in the bedrooms as the overhead lights are bright and not dimmable. The beds are great, have side tables with some storage, and the bedrooms have large closets. The property is gated, entry by car in the day is open through 2 locations and many pedestrian gates are open from 6am to 6pm. I have a lot more to say but VRBO limits the text to 1500 characters. Overall a great stay! Viva Puerto Rico!

Clean, nice neighborhood, could use improvement
This is a great apartment, furnished nicely. Awesome large outdoor roof top patio. The owner was nice and responsive to our questions. Some things to note I feel are important. The back room has a private door lesding to outdoor patio thats frosted. Because the outside security lights automatically stay on during the night it shines through this bedroom door. A curtain install would fix this issue. Also the AC in this same room is extremely loud, its difficult to sleep. The owner is aware and said to turn it off, open the door to allow the kitchen/living room AC to cool the room. You sacrifice privacy but it does work. More importantly the ceiling leaks from this same room right over the bed onto your face. The ceiling appears to have long term water damage showing so I am not sure its been addresses. The neighborhood is secure, you will need to drive in and out the main gate many blocks away after 6pm as this rental does not leave a gate key with like some others do. The propane grill had 2 empty tanks. The owner was not able to get them filled during our stay. This has potential to be a great property if these issues are fixed.

Nice, could be better
The property and neighborhood nice but there are a few key features of the unit that could be better. The guest room nearest the entry AC is VERY loud. You cannot sleep with this on you will need to turn it off and open your door to get it cooled down from the kitchen & living room AC. This cause privacy issues. More importantly the ceiling leaks right over the bed! There is visible long term leak damage across the ceiling. In the same room is a frosted door that opens to the rooftop patio. Because the security lights outside on the patio cannot be turned off at night this illuminates that same bedroom. A curtain or shade could be an easy fix. We hung a towel over the door and shut it. Other renters leave a key for the side gates for their guests to access the beach etc..without having to drive through the main gate after 6pm, this would be nice to have but they do not leave one so keep that in mind. The gas grill had 2 empty propane tanks, owner was not able to have filled for us during out stay. The washer is a bit noisy but does do a good job. Its a nice place it just needs more attention, some of these I feel are very important when considering your stay. The owner was very nice and apologetic for the inconveniences during our stay. I hope the issues are fixed for future guests.

Experience with the rental
There are some positives :close to old San Juan , restaurants and the beach—though a bit rough beach—apartment had all the essentials , spacious for 3 persons, nice beds and showers , nice view of the ocean. There are a few negatives : meeting briefly the owner and/or manager of the property was a huge disappointment, he was not very welcoming, appeared to be in a hurry to dispatch us and was overall quite rude, kitchen utensils were rather old and overused, the sofa bed had old sheets and dirty socks from previous visitors, the overall decor rather. Poor, some walls pealing off, entrance to the apartment was unkept, and for senior folks as us going upstairs with a bunch of luggage was rather difficult. Hector did not seem to notice or care. Overall insensitive. We will not rent Fromm him again

Nice Area. Cleanliness. The beds were awesome. We really felt at home. The area rayinh was bad on Google, however I told my family let's just visit,and see for ourselves. Very Nice host as well.
