Great, well appointed hotel with clean rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. Jorge at the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. With us not knowing the area Jorge went out of his way to provide us with a map and recommendations of areas to go in the downtown area.

Great place for a one night stopover after landing at San Jose airport. Friendly check in, space for car parking, large bedrooms and delicious breakfast! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

We stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to the hospital and affordability. It is a short Uber ride from CIMA and much more affordable than those within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were kind and helpful, room spacious and clean with a good breakfast. Highly recommend.

Their warm hospitality truly made me feel welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable—everything was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas. It’s clear that they take great pride in maintaining a pristine environment for their guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant. The food was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. Every meal was a delight, and the ambiance made dining even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Isla Verde Hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch stay with excellent service, outstanding cleanliness, and a fantastic restaurant. I can’t wait to visit again!

Staff can’t be faulted but room has no window- no forget- no coffee making facility- bed linen was sprayed with Fabreze( actually saw it on the ladies cleaning cart) and I got a full blown sinus reaction to it

Very nice San Jose hotel
Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Great breakfasts. We also had dinner in their Chinese restaurant one night — beautiful presentation and delicious. A bit removed from the historic district but not a problem.

Isla Verde hotel was a reasonable price and good value for the cost. Inside the hotel was updated, and the lobby and restaurant was inviting. The front desk staff were helpful, provided recommendations, and even noticed when my child left their stuffed animal in the restaurant. We appreciated their thoughtfulness throughout our stay!
