Nirvana Vacation Rentals has been the favorite for a multitude of guests from all over the globe. Its location, and near local shops, restaurants or if you prefer international restaurants including Dennis, Burger King and MacDonald, car rentals,bus stop to and from San Jose and Alajuela are within walking distance. For incidentals and groceries shopping, WaltMart happened to established its business just a couple of minutes away from our rentals. This small piece of paradise is just steps away from Juan Santamaria airport, and nestled among local residents, the most beautiful lush gardens , providing you with the opportunity to experience Costa Rica way of life at its best.

Great location, ambience and value
We are staying in one of the apartments for 3 months. The location is excellent for us. Local buses are available 500 feet down the road. We can get to San Jose in 25 minutes and Alahuela (which we prefer) in 15. Taxis also hailable right down the road. A $3.00 run to Walmart which is actually handy for the basics although the mercado in Alahuela is very good for all food stuffs. Local shopping available down the street, a fine restaurant, Casa Antigua and a pub, Cheers. We are going to the east coast (Tortuguero) the west coast (Manual Antonio) the northern mountains (Monteverde) and the southern mountains (Los Santos) all from here, all within 2.5 to 4 hours. This is our home base and what a lovely home base it is! The apartments are all lovely, you will be torn between staying at home and enjoying the tropical garden, listening to the fountain and reading or heading out sightseeing. We are on the second floor with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden and the mountains. There is a lovely long balcony where we sit out during the day and evenings. Because we are here for awhile certain amenities are important to us, we have laundry and wifi and cable tv and a properly outfitted kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. We can't say enough about our landlady, Roxana. She was beyond welcoming, she was extremely helpful in getting us organized, set-up and started on our Costa Rican adventure. She even took us places! Very generous. I'm writing this on the balcony surrounded by greenery and fine views. La vida pura for sure! Ingrid and Allan, from Canada

Good place!
Stayed 3 nights in Alajuela. Easy to take busses to San Jose, or the airport. Lovely lady and her sun tool good care of me and showed me some good bars as well! thanks for all the good converssations! Hope to see you soon again!

Luxury Airport Convenience
Optimal stay. It was great to stay here for many reasons. Very close to the airport and other pricey airport hotels and businesses. Quiet and peaceful street. The rooms were well equipped and luxurious and the other renters were very pleasant. I look forward to the return
