Nice hotel by the airport
We needed a place to stay an extra couple of days. This hotel was very convenient to the airport. The room was modern and clean. The staff was very nice.

Not Best Western
Arrived expecting to use Best Western gift card only to discover 15 days earlier hotel had been sold. Since it's no longer part of Best Western chain, they did not accept card. Our "non smoking" room reeked of smoke so changed rooms. A lot of moving around with 4 large bags (had been in Cabo 3 months) on a cart that we manoeuvred ourselves. Next room: poor pressure in shower, a trickle in sink, towels a little stiff but room clean and bed good. Breakfast not included and breakfast buffet just barely worth the $9 but you can order from menu. Will be interesting to see the results private ownership brings. Rather odd...hotel gated. (8:30 pm) Had to wait a while to get someone's attention to let our friend/driver in and he had to come into hotel to have someone let him out.

I have long legs and couldn't sit on the commode. Used the lobby facility. The food was very good in the restaurant. Overall, price is right.

Nice enough and clean, but the food was terrible
We arrived about 7 PM, went to dinner at the hotel restaurant. The garlic shrimp had no garlic and the shrimp was rubbery beyond belief. The service was abysmally slow, the food plain and poorly prepared.

This is a great hotel and we felt it was a good value but there is no heat in the rooms and we were cold until be brought our own little box heater into the room. The shower had warm water but not hot. We asked them to turn up the water heater but it never got warmer during our entire weeks stay. It was still a great hotel and we will stay there again.

Too close to airport but yet too far from town.
The only hotel next to SJD Airport, nothing else beside Car Rental companies surrounded. Taxi fare to downtown are very expensive, only recommended to stay here if your intention is to catch flight. Booked thru hotel.com whereby stated taxes included in the total, but still the Hotel insisted & charged the extra 19% taxes!

Away from the city, but that free shuttle helps.
Everything on the beach was booked, so we ended up at this very clean, nice hotel. Due to its location, we had to bus it into town each and everytime. But, lucky for us, this hotel offers free shuttle pick up & drop off from the airport. There you can get a bus for $80 pesos ($4 dollars) to take you all the way to los cabos.

Convenient to airport at San Jose del Cabo.
We booked this hotel in order to be near the airport to be able to get to our return flight on time on a trip to Los Cabos. It is the only one that is very close. It appeared to be a new hotel, in very good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

No water to shower or flush the toilet .
The hotel is clean and the rooms are very nice.. the service in the restaurant was very slow. When I stayed, 11-26-27, they had no water. ZERO! The staff kept telling us an hour, then maybe two. I ended up taking a shower using a bucket.. The last time I stayed there this happened but was fixed before I left so I was able to have water.. I'm not sure why they had no water, but the staff did not offer any explanation. Unfortunately I will be staying elsewhere when I go back to Cabo.

Water went off at 7am. Waiter overcharged drink by 300%! Bar never opened in 3 days. Restaurant waiter rude, never got order correct. Checkin/out very slow. Great location, potential, needs supervision!

Already in need of maintenance
While the rooms are nice enough, this relatively new hotel is already showing signs of wear. In our bathroom, the glass door would not close because the tiles at the floor level had buckled upwards - they need to be replaced, but apparently the maids have never reported the problem or nobody cares.

Great family stay
This was our second stay but always the best, the only thing we did not like was breakfast service. Although there were not many people in the dining area service was slow. Food had great flavor and they were friendly , just slow brining out dishes and refills.

NO continental breakfast was disappointing
I was very disappointed to find out there was NO continental breakfast. They wanted to charge us, and that was very surprising, and disappointing, because every other Best Western's I have stayed at, all around the world, have always had a free continental breakfast.

Convenient and great staff
It was a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The exterior looked like they were renovating but overall it looked brand new. Interior of the hotel looked brand new as well or newly renovated. The room was spacious and however the AC needed to be on all day to have it at a decent temperature. Overall the room was very comfortable and a great place to finish a trip to get to the airport ASAP.

My flight was cancelled and was told to go there for the night. No contentenial breakfast since made reservations the third party. Hotel restaurant service verynslow and not friendly had child bring me my bill to pay.not helpful to resolve breakfast issue had to take family to oxxo(7-11) told we would have to pay full price even when flight was canceled and tropical Javier going on. Food that we purchase at restaurant that evening was not fresh, club sand which and nachos beef /chips hard possibly stale little beef very dry

Hotel on Airport Property
The hotel is VERY close to the airport . . . actual walking distance. We chose it because we had a late arrival (11 pm) and an early departure from Cabo from and to Mexico City. The location of this airport allowed us NOT to have to worry about late night transportation to Cabo San Lucas upon arrival, and, VERY early morning transportation (4 am) when leaving. The staff at this hotel were also VERY helpful with everything we asked of them - from ice to rope to early morning shuttles. We would definitely do the same thing if visiting Cabo another time
