"We booked a room with sea view and it was great, the room was spacious and just as pictured. The place is easy to find using a GPS but beware of the very steep uphill streets. There are about 5 parking spots on-site but 3 of them are covered and the street is so narrow, the person from the hostel recommended parking in the street to avoid risk of being blocked and not able to move our car. "Our hosts (Merche/Pepe) were so helpful, we got lost getting there so we rang them and they were on their way to pick us up.Adding to that they took us for a tour of some highlights of San Jose which was spectacular. Very knowledgeable and so friendly welcoming us to their house and country.The villa we stayed in had everything you needed and it felt like home."

Hard to find a reasonably priced Spanish food restaurant,but we did, dead opposite. The other 3 we tried were well overpriced, over decorated and each poor on comfort (4 people at a 2 person square table, no option) and low standard of cuisine"

"The top floor balcony and its view are fabulous but there are a number of issues about this property. Firstly the only access to the balcony is through the master bedroom.
