"Great property! LOVED the setting, in the middle of fields and countryside. You definitely need a car but it’s a very convenient drive to Florence and the rest of Tuscany. "This is the most amazing experience. We spent 5 days here. It is a little family run Agriturismo that is exactly what it states. No frills, but living as an Italian farming family would. "We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....
