"This is not an hotel or a Bed and Breakfast but a working farm (vineyard and olive groves) with a beautiful guesthouse with comfortable basic bedrooms. The dinners are family style for each room/group and there is only one menu per evening. The dinners were delicious and the wine was very good. There were activities you could sign up for as well. But the greatest part of the property is the views of the vineyards, olive groves, and the Tuscan countryside. Absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful....

"Property is beautiful! Actually picture perfect, with a good breakfast, and great value for the price . The best part is your staying on a winery and you can even smell the grapes fermenting. A great experience! The town Certaldo is so cute , we had a car and explored all around. I really recommend Maestrini Auto for a car rental in town. Recommend this hotel we loved it. "

"Great stay just outside of Castellina in Chianti. The swimming pool is beyond beautiful, overlooking the mountains. The location is also convenient with a restaurant at end of the street and a quick drive to Castellina or Sienna. Onsite wine tasting was also fantastic and staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside in summer is lack of air conditioning in the apartments. Adding AC would make this place a 10/10 stay. Will definitely be returning for more vacations at Borgo. "
