"Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! Everything we needed was there and so easy to get to other parts of Oakland from the cottage. Host was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. Just slightly awkward placement of the living room TV, but we didn’t end up using it anyway."

"Beautiful room with modern amenities without impacting the charm. Very comfortable and quiet. Big, rustic coastal Victorian parlor with French doors that let in light and open onto a nice deck. Close to the coast and several great beaches, walks along the tidal marsh. "

"This place was perfect for us. We had friends from the area meet us for 2 days one couple and 2 days the other. Across the highway from the ocean. Duartes is our favorite restaurant. Steve, the owner was great. We will do this again"

"The Star Wars house was charming and quite comfortable. The kids definitely got a kick out of the decor. I think my only issue is I didn’t read the details closely because we were surprised there wasn’t a stove or oven and we were supposed to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving. Oops! But the owners are really nice, they communicate well and are there if you need anything. Note that this is attached to their home with a separate entrance for privacy. We enjoyed our stay very much."
