"We were not sure what to expect when we arrived and still had to walk with our luggage along a pedestrian walkway from the street where the tuktuk dropped us to the hotel entrance after arriving from via ferry. However, we really enjoyed our stay here and appreciated its location and quiet location while still being conveniently located. The rooms are basic but clean. There is a lovely balcony on the top floor where you can enjoy views of the lake as you bask in the sun. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave me a phone number of a driver to hire a private car back to Antigua. I also enjoyed the convenience of refilling my water bottles from the large bottled water dispensers, as well as renting a kayak from the hotel for only Q20. The hotel is also located near laundry service for Q7 per lb and we highly recommend checking at the Thermal Spa and Tami’s massage located less than 5 min away. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay on the beach, I recommend Mikaso. "

"We loved our room it was super nice with beautiful view of the lake. The room was spacious and clean, the bathtub was nice addition. Sadly the WiFi wasn’t working that well, but is the only bad thing we can say. Really recommend this place."

"Everything was amazing. The reviews for this hotel were very mixed, however our experience was amazing and have no idea why anyone would say anything negative. Our room (#8) was beautiful, the esthetic of the pool was georgeous, the view of Lake Atitlan (feet away) was breathtaking, the staff was kind, friendly (miri and juan..everyone) and everyone always had a smile on their face. The food was great👌. 10/10 i would definitely return and would recommend!"

"This property is gorgeous! We loved sitting on our front porch area and enjoying the gardens. The place is gated and has security at all times so we always felt very safe on the property. The room was cleaned every day and it was always quiet after 10 PM. There’s a lot of amenities on the property. It was super convenient to walk over to the restaurant whenever we wanted a snack or a drink. We lounged by the pool and used their free kayaks. They were also able to help us schedule transportation to the airport. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great stay that’s a little off the beaten path. "
