It's a cute space, but not quite what we expected from the description. While the owner was very friendly, this setup felt more like we were intruding on a private space than staying in a standalone cottage. Clarifying this in the listing would help future guests know what to expect."

"This property did not disappoint it’s very cute and cozy and was a perfect weekend getaway that felt like we were far from home but really not. I have spent my childhood on Lummi Island just down the road from here at 4030 which belong to my family for over 45 years and miss it since it was sold. The Haven is a great little place, had all the comforts of home. It very clean and decorated nicely. We will definitely visit again! "

"What a wonderful stay— even if it was just overnight my partner and I were so in love with how cozy the space was on a cold PNW winter day. We ended up getting oysters at Taylor’s Shellfish and the drive up to Fairhaven was 10 minutes. The view out to Chuckanut Island is perfect and there’s minimal external noise. 10/10 especially since many friends recognize the dome and being able to say you stayed in it feels special :)"

"We arrived at unit XXXXA at 7:40 p.m. and were finally able to enter an hour later. Vacasa had sent me 10 emails before our arrival, all with the wrong unit number (XXXXA) and incorrect check-in instructions. It was dark and raining, and after spending about 15 minutes trying to get in, I called Vacasa. It took 10 minutes to reach an operator and another 10 minutes for the property manager to call me back. To make matters worse, the instructions directed us to a unit two doors to the left...
