"The hotel was gorgeous! Our room was practically a one bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the river. We did not stay on the club floors. The only issue I had was with the Sky Bar. The views are splendid while the prices are "Sky High"! 1700 Baht for a 4 oz glass of wine. Go up for the views but have a cocktail elsewhere. "Pros: Shuttle boats and boat tours are convenient to access. Pool & lounge area was relaxing. Neighborhood felt safe and was walkable. Breakfast buffet was really great…don’t miss the Thai cuisine outside! Tons of food options at the hotel itself and surrounding area. "Tucked in among literally DOZENS of other hotel options in the same few blocks, GCP was a great choice. Loved the full kitchen and washer/dryer in every room; the gym, sauna, hot tub, and steam room; the round-the-clock speedy service; the spotless cleanliness; and the reasonably priced room service options. "A true oasis from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Having the wonderful option of taking the complimentary shuttle was fun. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. And the customer service was extraordinary. We enjoyed Christmas dinner on one of the hotel’s dinner cruise ships and the food was outstanding and it was a lovely intimate atmosphere quite unlike the passing massive party boats on the same river. We felt very lucky we chose this hotel. "
