"Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "

"The Bugle Inn is the oldest building in the area. We had our evening meal in the bar, the food was lovely, good portions size, nicely presented. We had a good night's sleep, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot. We did find a cobweb. Breakfast was a full cornish and was lovely. "

Great breakfast (Martin's mushrooms) and not to be missed - inhouse bar for 6:00 drink. Our hosts couldn't be more helpful in providing details for local attractions / transport / dining options. Highly highly recommend for getaway with local feel."
