"As Nelson locals, this was the perfect weekend escape. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our crisp, sunny, April stay in Phil's hand-built tiny home. It was exactly what we were looking for; a humble abode, nestled in the trees, and a surrounding area to explore. Phil was very welcoming and made himself readily available in case we needed anything. Any answers to questions you may have are well-written in his detailed description. We would like to return to check out Rosebud Lake when it’s warmer and see all of the turtles! Thanks again, Phil. Hope to see you again! "

"Perfect location for a ski getaway! This quirky home was great for us to base out of during our trip to Whitewater. We had a little trouble getting into the house on arrival, but the owners were quick to respond and get us in the property. If you come to ski, make sure you have 4WD. The driveway is no joke :) "

"My daughter and I recently enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay. The owners are terrific - serve delicious breakfasts, share interesting travel stories and good conversation, maintain very clean and comfortable rooms. The eggs with breakfast are from their very own chickens!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and if I’m ever fortunate enough to be in Genelle again, I’m staying with Gordon and Todd!!"
