"We had a two bedroom suite at the Residences. Hotel is beautiful but it is very spread out. To go to beach and main hotel building you need to take a shuttle which you may need to wait for 15-20 minutes. For a 5 star resort service was a bit spotty. We had a mishap at breakfast- was told we can do a la cart instead of buffet but ended up waiting for 1 hour to get eggs which was ridiculous. This hotel is also outside of Albufeira so location is not super convenient - you have to drive to town. "

"Resort is catered to families but not well executed. Food was quite overpriced compared to restaurants in town. Kid club area and toys are quite dirty and run down. Childrens waterpark was great. Pools nice. They had bouncey castles and remote control cars for kids that was quite fun. Overall nice variety of activities in the resort. "Everything was great and the staff was awesome. The only negatives were the kitchen was too dark, the fireplace smoke odor was overpowering and strong, and the front door and car were always full of pidgeon poop. Trimming the trees should solve the pidgeon poop issue. We didn’t know the WiFi router had to be rented and there were none available for the first week. All the shortcomings were made up by the great staff."

"We really enjoyed our one bedroom apartment with full kitchen etc. Only one negative comment, during our 3 nights stay there we’re many golfers groups and they party all hours since early morning to late night "

"The property was great and very close to the town (very walkable but there are a number of steps that might impede if there any mobility issues - however the hotel does offer a free shuttle during the daytime). Very clean and safe with good facilities. Will stay again."

"I liked that it was quietand the viw was really good. It was clean, I think ir needs a little TLC. Mind that there ia no elevator in the appartments. We ate at the cafereria and food was okay, a little pricey for the quality. "

"The hotel and staff were quite lovely during our stay. Unfortunately, we went during the low season and I definitely do not recommend doing that. There wasn't much to do in the surrounding area but that isn't really the hotel's fault. The one thing I will say that was not satisfactory at the property was the breakfast. For £35, I expected at least a little bit better of an offering from the buffet. Everything was quite stale and not many options. We elected to purchase the avocado toast which seemed more like an avocado spread than actual avocados (Avocados seem difficult to get in this region of the world as I have not had great luck in Europe in general finding fresh avocados like you can in the US). Other than that, I highly recommend the property as the rooms were extremely clean, very large, and the design is quite cool. It looks much better in person than it does in photos for some reason. Also, the staff was so friendly as you come to expect when visiting Portugal, it's just a totally different vibe from the people in the US and other parts of Europe. "

"Fantastic hotel - amazing rooms and so well laid out - loved the roof top terrace and pool and it’s in a lovely location too! All the staff were fantastic and helpful- especially Tiago in the bar - definitely recommend this hotel and lovely Olhão and will return for sure hopefully."

Fabulous Stay In Great Location!

"We had a fabulous two night stay in the Tivoli Hotel. From meet & greet to checkout the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and we had a wonderful view over the marina. There was an extensive selection of food for breakfast and the Argo bar made really good cocktails! Would highly recommend this hotel."
