"Great location, I wouldn't say a car is needed at all if mainly planning to enjoy Praia Da Rocha. It's so close to the beach, a short walk down the steps, has a great Italian restaurant below it, and more restaurants, cafe's and the bar 'strip' further up. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was immaculate and the Marina view was great. Susana was exception to deal with. Easy walk to the grocery store and old town. "Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true.
