"My husband and I traveled over New Years. Absolutely loved this cute little hotel. The room was a bit tired but the fact that they allowed pets was the main reason for choosing Casa Morasan. Our two little dogs felt right at home and that was a huge plus. "

"Sarnai is amazing! From arrival to departure. Easy and smooth. Everything looked clean, cozy, comfortable and provided everything that is needed. It is a great stay in such a beautiful part of the world. It is evident the host has put attention, care and awareness into this place. Everything is great from the vibes, views to the surrounding nature. I particularly like that each room has it's "own name". Sarnai is highly, highly recommended, one of my new favorite places. "

"I had a lovely stay here. As a single women traveling alone I felt very safe at this location. It was close enough to walk into the city for meals, shopping, and exploring. The boat dock is also within walking distance if you want to explore other towns. I was served coffee and breakfast every morning on the dock which was delicious. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Some of them even spoke english which I found uncommon around the lake. Highly recommend staying in one of the two private rooms with lake view and private bathroom and shower. The shower has hot water which is also uncommon around the lake. 10/10 all around."

"Gaby and Jochen were absolute stellar hosts who were always there to answer any questions we had. Their exquisite meals were served in an open air bar high up overlooking the lake and volcanos in the distance. We would not hesitate to recommend this unique property with its open air rooms."

"Kula Maya is definitely the highlight of San Marcos, having the most excellent views and a friendly staff. The town is very charming and much more enjoyable than some of the busier towns on other parts of the lake. The restaurant has great food and a nice high-end bar selection. Prices are quite a bit higher than anything in the area, but the atmosphere makes it very worth it. The rooms could have been better-sealed to keep wind and bugs out, but I guess it can't be perfect in an eco-friendly resort in paradise. Definitely worth staying here, highly recommend."

"Super cute tropical oasis with amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Nice comfortable rooms with patios and cute pool. A short easy walk from the center of town, in a quieter spot. Incredibly friendly and accomodating. Can't recommend enough. Hope to be back soon."

"Absolutely loved this place. So so cute, clean, quiet and relaxing. The staff is so accommodating and sweet, they were always asking if they could get me anything. Food is SO GOOD. Best juices I have ever had in my life. The stairs around the property are killer but it’s worth it for the views, quality and price. Can’t wait to come back!"
