"It was an ok stay. I arrived there and directly ask for money, I couldn't pay with card, asked to pay later after I withdrew money and said I couldn't, said they i couldn't pay with 100 dollar bill and managed to find money to pay then but lacking 1 dollar which I asked to pay later and they said no. "I understand the country has blackouts, but the hotel doesn't have a backup power generator; not even for the reception; therefore, there is no lights for the Wi-Fi. The hotel obtains the water from the water well by pump; therefore, because there is no power, there is no water for the toilets, showers, etc. The hydromassage pool water was cold."

"The hotel has a unique vibe, a mixture of old as the original buildings is around 118 years old, but modern as the rooms are modern and the restaurant is a pleasure to eat in. It is off the noisy Main Street and a short walk to the hot springs. Everything was in excellent condition and Paulo was super helpful in all areas. His English was great which helped us a lot."
