"答志島は何度か渡らせてもらって、他の宿に泊まったのですが、接客はどこにも引けは取らないといった感じ。女将さんは評判の美人さんで、帰りは船着場までお見送りまでしてくれました。お料理は食べきれないボリュームで、もずくの中にみかんが入っていて少し驚きましたが、良い酸味で美味しくいただきました。全体的に古い感じではありましたが清掃も行き渡り、気持ちよく過ごさせてもらいました^_^"

Easily accessible by train from Nagoya city centre, however the train station has one bus (and no taxi stand) to the resort every couple of hours so organise ahead. "This is a hidden gem that I literally stumbled upon. This area is famous for agriculture so the food was sourced locally and amazing. The staff is international so even if you don't speak much Japanese you will be fine. It is peaceful and fun to walk around the area. We even met a young tomato and melon farmer who showed us his greenhouse. It was like staying in a ancient Japanese palace in a very local village.
