"Brilliant stay at this B&B as a family including our baby. We had plenty of space in our room and even had a smaller room joining in which we kept our luggage and our travel cot when our baby napped. The host was lovely and so helpful. She explained everything to us about breakfast service (which was so helpful for us as parents up super early and hungry). The host even provided a high chair for our baby. "Excellent B&B with a lovely room, extremely comfortable king-size bed, great shower, nice views from the room’s balcony, friendly staff, and wonderful breakfasts! The B&B is on a beautiful quiet street about a 10-minute walk from the busier/tourist parts of the city. We appreciated the walk after big breakfasts (at the hotel) and dinners (at restaurants around town). There’s an amazing 14th century home/museum at the end of the street, Adornes Domien, that’s worth a visit. "

"Spacious (Marquis) lots of space for 3 people. Very close walk to everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well appointed although we ended up only doing breakfasts in our room. Dining room table is large and good for playing cards (seats at least 6 people). Only knock was couch was ok but could have been a little more comfortable- maybe just add some cushions. Had elevator which was nice vs carrying luggage up 3 flights. "

Great small family option!

"It was exactly as described in the listing. The host was excellent and attentive. The space was inviting and the kitchen stocked with everything you need. The large beds we very comfortable and the shower was lovely. The only drawback was the small toilet."

POWER! or lack of

"Good location for transport to bruges & hotel a good price. But no reception staff or facilities (time of year?). We had no power in the room 212. Got moved to the next floor, room 107, but no power there either or heating, so returned our stuff back to 212 where briefly he was able to get power on to.There was an emergency phone number, but we only found this the next day during the move on the 1st floor. We lost a couple of hours trying to sort the room out, which was annoying. To be fair the man who was trying to help us brought up a couple of small bottles of champagne to say sorry. Also your website said breakfast was available. Not this time of year it would seem! we didn't find anywhere locally for food. A double bed was booked, but ended up with twin beds, and an unlocked door into room 213! With no way to lock this door, we barricaded it in case someone else had booked 213. Overall, not impressed by Hotels.com.... although an email to you got the janitor to call us (He was miffed that we hadnt called him, but the sign with this number was on a floor that we just weren't). Odd experience, but the area is brilliant for public transport and beach, and the hotel had a faded grandeur to it. "

Good facilities

"Good facilities, good size for 6 people supermarket 5 minute walk away. Spa and pool excellent the kids loved it, well equipped kitchen. The only problem was the smoke detectors are very sensitive, there's one on the bathroom which was triggered by steam from the shower and one was set off by spray deodorant, so security show up and say there's a problem and you have to open the balcony door, not ideal in winter. Overall a good stay."

A Great Stay Before Catching Cruise

"The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the Blankenberge Train Station. We stayed two night/three days before catching the tram to Zeebrugge for a cruise (easy to do). The front staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and we slept well after the traffic died down. The only negative was that our room was next to a major street so it was noisy. Possibly the inner rooms could be quieter. Otherwise we enjoyed hotel and location was safe and easy to get to the ocean. We visited in October so the area was quiet."
