"If you don’t have a car, it is very difficult to get around as taxis and uber are limited in the area. We had multiple taxi drivers say yes and cancel. Rooms are dated and weird smell coming from the carpet. With limited transportation, we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant which was not good. We booked through Expedia and chose a pay at hotel option - and had picked to include breakfast and access to the spa. The hotel denied that we had chosen that option. Expedia said they couldn’t do anything because I chose pay at hotel. Hotel refused to give me the lower rate because we never did get breakfast or spa access. Definitely not worth what we ended up paying. My recommendation: Stay somewhere else. "

"We were greeted outside by a friendly welcoming member of staff with guidance on how to reach the hotel car parking. The room was basic but clean with plentiful of hot water. All staff were polite and helpful. Great stay"

"The most incredible place I’ve ever been. Annecy is magical in its own right but Le Palace far exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t to it justice. We remarked how we need to come back and spend a whole week,2 nights was not enough "
