"Helene was a superb host. Her communication from booking to check in was excellent, and she came to welcome us at the start of our stay and farewell us at the end. The house is beautiful and even better than the pictures, with a fabulous view of the sea, the saltwater lido pool in the bay and the bouchon mussel farm round the bay. The living rooms are spacious, light, and you ah w great views from the front of the house and of course the balcony which runs across the whole front of the house....

"We spent two nights at the gites with a group of 20. We don't speak French, but we wanted to see Mont Saint Michel. The manager didn't speak English, so we had a communication problem from the beginning. "This property has it all: great location right near a cute village, a view of Mont St. Michel, 12 mins to the center of a lovely small city for good dining options and practicalities (Avranches), generally great amenities, wonderful heated pool. The host was super sweet and communicative. The only suggestion for improvement would be for the owner to invest in some portable fans as, with climate change, things can get quite warm even at night. This is a highly recommended property!"

"We had a lovely stay here for 10 days which felt very much like a home from home. The house was spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped and felt safe and secure in a small village Baudre. We visited all the Normandy landing beaches, the American Cemetery, Overload and D-Day Experience museums, Pointe de Hoc, Maisy battery, Pegasus Bridge and Caretan which were all 35 to 60 mins drive.
