"A lovely cottage with a lot of character. Amazing communication and help from the owner. Lovely setting, near to a lot of places of interest to go with the family. Rooms are all a lot larger than appear in the pictures. Nearby field outside the village has a very friendly little horse too!"

"The property was Ok but the bedrooms let it down. Neither bedroom had any storage space, just a hanging rail on which to hang trousers and shirts. No drawer space whatsoever, which means living out of a suitcase for a week. The ground floor bedroom was very small which means the suitcases were on the floor and presented a trip hazard. "Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "The property is not as shown in photos on website. These photos are from several years ago and do not reflect it’s current state. It is very tired and in need of an update. For the price paid I would not expect to arrive and have bed sheets that were many years old (they were clean), a broken toilet seat and a dirty barbecue! Whilst the village is very rural there is nothing there so please ensure you stock up on supplies."
