"This property is the worst we have ever stayed in. It was filthy, the dishes in the kitchen were cracked and dirty. The stairs to the bedrooms are a ladder and my Mum couldn’t get up and down them. The boiler didn’t work properly and actually broke on the last day leaving us no hot water. There was a smashed window in my daughters bedroom which I told the owner about and he didn’t even respond. This place is not fit to be rented."

"Ideal location for the good quality golf courses in the area. Whilst this is a good property there were a few areas that we thought could be improved on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. "The location of the house is pretty perfect. From there you can start with a lot of hikes and/or trips with a car to all the beautiful sites off Cote Opal. You also have a very good view from the house, as well over the sea as to the fields and Cap Gris-Nez. The house also has everything that contributes to a comfortable stay."

"The house is a good size with all accommodation needs, well equipped kitchen. Is it nicely decorated and clean with a good sized garden and BBQ. We didn’t have the best weather but there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to visit. The beach is an easy walk and there is a local train station. I would mention that the stairs are quite steep if you have little ones with you. Overall we had a lovely family break, there were 8 of us plus baby and fur baby.
