"We loved our stay at the Rustic and look forward to coming back. For reference: we are a family with 2 kids and a dog. We came for a week of skiing at the nearby hills, which were an easy drive, with groceries and SAQ along the way.The chalet is comfortable and thoughtful in it's decor - we were very cozy. "What a fantastic treehouse surprise! Absolutely beautiful and truly in the forest but steps away from a lovely sauna and hot tub, and the nicest host even has four laying hens! The route we took included some 1-2km twisty dirt road and felt like a real adventure. We stayed here for a romantic birthday two night stay while taking an excellent blacksmithing course at nearby Vans Blacksmithing in Hawkesbury, and stayed another day for open forge time.
