"Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."

"The resort is located in a great location with plenty of parking along the main road directly outside the apartments. Key collection from reception was easy and all the staff were friendly and approachable. Access to the ski resort is fairly easy, after a short walk up the hill to the slope / lift. The apartment we stayed (2 bed apartment - but can sleep an additional one or two if needed by using the sofa bed) has a master (double bed) and en-suite; and another room with two singles, and...

"Excellent apartment and great location. We had a great stay… but the Wifi was non existent…. You get two logins for each apartment and it is extremely slow. Put bluntly… not usable. Also mobile data is not possible. The building seems to be located in a dark spot for all networks."
