"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. "Staying in and among buildings in a village settled in 1067, clinging to a steep mountain wall, seemed to connect us deeply to the history and geography of South France. Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."

"Good location for visiting the western Cevennes, basic accomodation that was comfortable for two. It could get a bit noisy in late afternoon and early evening but the view was stunning. Parking occasionaly awkward and the steps up to the cottage could be difficult for some."

Nous conseillons la visite du village et de la cité des Insectes Micropolis qui ravie les grands et les petits. Très bon contact avec les loueurs. Proximité de Millau de de son fabuleux Viaduc à 18 Kms ainsi que de nombreux sites touristiques aus alentours. Pour un futur séjour dans l'Aveyron, nous y reviendrons, c'est sur !!!"

"Nous avons été déçus par le gîte. Le hameau est certes très joli, en pleine nature, mais le gîte n'est pas adapté au séjour d'une famille pendant deux semaines et il ne correspond pas à la description du site. La maison n'est pas un "château/manoir" comme indiqué sur le site. Le jardin indiqué n'est pas attenant au gîte. Il n'y a pas de lave-vaisselle alors qu'il était indiqué sur le site. Il n'y a pas d'occultation aux fenêtres des chambres si bien que la chaleur rentre et on ne peut pas...

"Gite agréable pour 2 adultes + 2 "grands" enfants (escalier raide) situé au hameau de Régagnas à 4,5km du village de Campestre, sur le Causse de éponyme, et à 8km de la 1ère épicerie. De la nature à perte de vue. Idéal pour se ressourcer et se déconnecter sans être totalement coupé du monde (attention point de Wi-Fi mais il y a de la 4G!). En cas de besoin, les habitants du hameau sauront vous aider et sympathique marché les vendredis à Campestre."

"The Water Tower has great character. The upstairs living room is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the circular walk above Tournemire - at 2 1/2 hours a good starter, the first of many further afield. There are plenty of maps and guides in the living room.
