Positives are: Bed was comfortable = 1 star Hosts were friendly and helpful (allowing me to park my motorcycle in the courtyard) = 1 star Breakfast was good = 1 star Negatives are: Shower is neither relaxing or pleasant. "We stayed for one night after a trip to the nearby Puy du Fou. We had an excellent, spacious room for our family of four, which was sparkling clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious (especially the wide variety of homemade jams) and the garden of the property was a great advantage - beautifully quiet and plenty of room to burn some energy off for the children. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to recommend the place. "

"Fabulous welcome from Lars with his animated description of the Valley. The views were amazing - what a beautiful place to stay. We slept in the Swedish room with a perfect hot walk in shower. We also had dinner at the Chateau and Lars attention to detail and flavours were simply perfect! We would thoroughly recommend the Chateau & definitely stay for your evening meal x "
