"My stay at La Saudade was a very pleasant experience. The hosts are kind and interesting people, you are steps from the very charming town of St. Peray (which has infinitely more going for it than the other ‘wine towns’ in the area). Enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Ruche, and was told that the nearby Auberge is also a fun family destination. La Saudade is the embodiment of a lovely chambre d’hotes - clean, unpretentious, interesting old home, and is also personal and memorable! Recommend!"

"We spent 3 nights at this great site. Carina et Frédéric were really friendly and fantastic hosts. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the pool and the proximity to the Vercors. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Would return without hesitation."

"The traditional dwellings had been beautifully renovated. Lovely pool, and easy-going hosts who were happy to provide us with things that made our stay practical and comfortable - apart from soap and toilet paper which we had to provide. Location is very remote and this takes time to access other places, but also adds to the charm of this very special spot. Other guests were quiet and respectful- a lovely vibe!"

Described as kitchenette - shared fridge and microwave and communal cups with another room, this was situated in the vestibule outside the 2 rooms. No sink/cleaning/prep area. 2 sunloungers situated on the outside stairs up to the rooms. Room tiny, barely able to move round the table and bed. Good sized bathroom. "Linen and bathroom looked clean. However, the friendly hostess doesn't seem to realise how dusty the whole place is. Also, I had to pay extra for a third person (a teenager) after the booking was already paid. One of the worst places I've slept in."
