"I had a superior room and I was very pleased. The room was massive, the bed was comfy and the bath was lovely too. I had a Sunday roast in the restaurant too and that was delicious. Breakfast was great too. I felt very relaxed and wish I could have stayed for longer! "

"Very central, about 5 mins walk from train station and city centre was virtually on doorstep. Room was a good size and very clean with great facilities - decent sized fridge, crockery and microwave in room. Minor negatives were the bed linen not being great quality and shower temperature was a little up and down (not massively, just not quite constant), but for the price paid given the location and quality this was great value, would definitely stay again."

"This is the third year we have stayed to celebrate an AGM. Frankly we were very disorganised re. Numbers. But the Pilgrim were amazing accommodating 40/45 people all very last minute, the food was totally amazing bearing in mind there were so many different variables for a three course meal coming of their table D’hote menu. All delivered in flustered and with smiles on faces. The kitchen staff must have been frantic but boy did they deliver. Thank you again and see you all on December 1st 2025. "
