"Fabulous hotel, lovely breakfast and attentive staff. My room had a fantastic view of the Tombs of the Kings, and sea. Venus offers such a warm, inviting and relaxed atmosphere, which resonates with all age groups/travellers. Quick access to the beach and great choice of amenities - although the gym was closed for refurbishment. Perfect view for admiring the sunset in the early evening. I'd absolutely stay here again when I visit Paphos and I have already recommended it to my family who frequently visit. Generally, I found the hotel staff were attentive and courteous with an exceptional level of customer care. On arrival, I was still recovering from a recent illness and the gentleman whose name I have forgotten kindly arranged for my clothes to be ironed by the house keepers. I thought Ella (reception) was another super star and she kindly assisted me whenever I needed help, such as booking my excursion to Nicosia. I'd absolutely recommend staying at Venus Beach Hotel."

"The apartment is very clean and a good size. We stayed for 3 weeks and found it had everything we needed.The bed was very large (super king) and comfortable with warm duvets and extra blankets for the winter months. The whole property is very quiet and peaceful We enjoyed the south facing patio doors onto the balcony which let in plenty of light and warmth through the afternoon but there is also heating via the air-conditioning and extra oil heaters if needed. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed The owners gave us loads of information that was truly helpful about the area and local eating places and responded fast to any questionsI have no hesitation in recommending this apartment if you are looking for somewhere quiet and out of town but a car is required.."

"Right from check in [it was earlier than stated], the staff couldn't be more helpful. The receptionist escorted us to our room and made everything was OK before she left. We only booked bed and breakfast but the dining staff were quickly on hand to help out and especially for those that have mobility problems taking food to the tables for them. The only gripe I would have at breakfast is the hot food wasn't hot and only warm. The cleaning staff were busy all day making sure the hotel was clean and safe and extremely polite. Although we only stayed B&B we decided to have a couple of evening meals, we were welcomed and swiftly shown a table asked our room number and that was it you could either pay the extra at the end of your stay or on the night . The big question is would we stay there again, YES. Probably consider all inclusive as everyone is considered part of the family."

"The Villa is in a good location with regards to access to Paphos. The views from the villa are amazing and the villa was extremely clean and the pool was very clean and good size. The ability to fold back the doors fully does make a significant difference to the internal space. The location of the villa is excellent for local attractions with good local shops and restaurants."

"We arrived late and had some trouble locating the keys, but a quick call to the property manager and they were soon found. There was some food in the fridge along with milk, beer and wine which was very welcome after a long journey. The villa was very warm on arrival, but we opened all the doors and it soon cooled down. Each room has its own bathroom, air conditioning and a remote control ceiling fan. We only used the air-con for a short time on the first night as the bedrooms were still hot, but didn't need it after that. We had the bedroom with the outside terrace and it was great opening the sliding doors in the morning and to be able to see the sea. The bedroom downstairs seemed to have problems with getting hot water to the shower or sink. Having a shower a bit later in the day was the answer. It took a while to work out the controls for the dishwasher, but it turned out to be very simple: just turn on the power and select ECO. There are lots of switches downstairs and we never did find out what all of them did. Labels would be a very useful addition. The pool is not heated and can feel a bit chilly when first entered, but this isn't a bad thing on hot days. We had dinner each evening sat outside and it's surprising that there are very few flying things to annoy you. You can sit there and watch the bats take a quick drink from the pool and geckos scampering about. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this villa and would be happy to use it again."

"We had a lovely weeks stay. Property well appointed. Had a few minor issues like being able to locate the key safe in the dark on our late arrival. The downstairs bathroom the shower curtain came off the wall but able to fix it and the radiator is very rusty. Also the windows in the downstairs bedroom were locked and unable to find the key. Quite a few light bulbs need replacing in the lounge. Also water pressure was not good unless you went upstairs to press the switch. We did have a problem with the internet but Tandy managed to get it sorted for us. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and these are just niggly little minor issues. A car is a must because location is remote with stunning views but that didn't bother us as we went out most days, we found some lovely restaurants that were recommended. "
