The manade itself is large and quite busy, sometimes a bit noisy as they occasionally get large groups visiting. But that doesn't matter as it was fascinating to watch them at work with the horses and bulls. Brigitte was kind enough to take us in her truck to watch a round-up, which was fascinating. "The house is newly done, including the bathrooms so feels very clean. The furnishing however is tacky and not comfortable. But, the beds are all uncomfortable & creeky. Impossible to move without making noise. The pillows very uncomfortable. The sofas & chairs, except the indoor dining table, are very uncomfortable also. There is a lack of glasses & mugs. The crockery is not great either. Very basic cooking equipment, pots & pans only suitable for large numbers of people. The road at...

"We had a great stay in the Camargue, despite a little more rain than we would have liked! The gite is beautifully situated overlooking an open grassy field and surrounding trees. We were made to feel welcome. The immediate area is very peaceful. It is well placed as a base from which to explore the wider Camargue and further afield."

"This is a beautiful secluded property. It has 2 large common areas for groups and a great kitchen for cooking. We loved it. Large beautiful property. Hard to find so you must follow host's directions carefully. Note: this place has plenty of bedrooms, but there are only 2 toilettes. This is a gated property and there is no way in or out other than through a gate with a remote control. We had an incident while staying where some our our group was left stranded on the property with no way out....

"We had a wonderful time in Arles and the property was located in a rural setting, but close to all the sites we wanted to visit. The property was well maintained, clean and everything worked well. The fully equipped laundry room and kitchen was a plus. Jackie and Michel were great on-property hosts. Very kind and helpful, even driving me into town for a quick tour and stop at the local market on arrival. They were quiet and there when needed with a smile.
