"We could not have been happier with the apartment . The owners were so helpful and generous, providing us with plenty of excellent guidance and advice . The apartment itself was spotless, light and airy with a lovely balcony and very close to the city centre and the beach, whilst being located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. "Our whole La Rochelle experience was amazing... from the situation of the apartment to the surrounding amenities were spot on... lots of eateries around the apartment but to go into La Rochelle is a must, what a vibrant place!! Restaurants and shopping plentiful. There is a water bus that goes every half an hour to La Rochelle from les minimes and back again... all through the marina... will definitely return... thank you"

"Overall the house is good and the garden is lovely. However, we did not have a good experience. The owner does not provide linen so if you don't want to bring any Madame will charge you 30 euros for thin towels (2 per week) and a sheet and pillowcase. The beds are uncomfortable and creak when you move in them! The kitchen does not have a kettle and the equipment is old. Be careful you do not break anything as Madame will expect you to provide a replacement and not leave the cottage until you...

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
