"Nicolas met us to let us in and to give us the keys. The apartment is situated in a courtyard (that’s where you park). There’s a key to enter the building and a key to enter the third floor apartment. It seemed like a very safe area. Nice and quiet at night. The views from the apartment were lovely. The windows can be opened to let in fresh air. The heating system worked well. The beds were comfortable. Great location. We walked to everything we wanted to do. "

"When we arrived, we were very happy to have something so roomy to relax in. It was also a nice stopover to do some laundry. The apartment is close to the church and main street in Bayeux. Our only complaint, is that the heater wasn't on. The host was very responsive to all of my our questions and indicated that the heat was turned off. Thankfully the temperatures were tolerable."

"Overall it is an incredible place. We stayed with my parents. Close to Bayeaux, had everything we needed. Grounds are lovely! Be aware that there are only 2 actual bedrooms. One with a king bed and one with twins. All the other beds are futons in living areas. Worked out fine for us but might not be great for more than 2 couples.We loved it and would stay again! The hosts were gracious and responsive, house was huge!"

"I absolutely loved the walkability of Bayeux. This apartment is in an excellent location - safe, quiet neighborhood, close to great restaurants, shops & major tourist sites. Parking was convenient. The apartment had all the equipment that we needed, especially appreciated the clothes washer. A note of caution for anyone with mobility or visual issues - the stairs are steep, the exterior door opens out and the exterior area leading to the street is poorly lit after dark."

The lack of WiFi did not contribute to my overall rating, just something to note. There is a dishwasher but no dishwasher soap...

"Nice apartment. Great location, walk to everything you need, and clean. Things to note: if you have any leg issues, the stairs are steep and there is only a rope used as a hand rail, could be unsafe for some people. Also I think this is a "French thing". There are few things like paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, napkins; you are asked to supply your own, also only 1 towel each for a 3 day stay. All in all we did enjoy our stay."
