The grocery store and beach are easily to walk to. The house manager Sarah was exceptionally helpful and can assist with any bookings or questions you might have. "The house is Caribbean living at its finest. No modern or updated appliances, the WiFi is good, no air conditioners just fans, simple bathroom. The house is clean just old. Quiet neighborhood, you’re spending minimum 40 USD for any taxi to travel to town. Nothing is walking distance, this is a residential neighborhood. The owner is lovely, lives on the property. "Our family of 7 adults stayed at Gibbs Glade villa for 14 nights in June and it was wonderful. The photographs on the website do not do it justice - light and airy, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large barbecue. Shann was lovely, she took great care of the villa without ever being intrusive and Shanee was a huge help when we managed to lock ourselves out! "If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. BUT if you are looking for a perfect beach with chairs/umbrellas provided and a "chill" location, this is it. We've been coming to Barbados for over 25 years and Speightstown is my favorite part. It's got the gorgeous west coast beaches without the obscene Sandy Lane prices. "I had a great time staying at the Crane Resort with friends. Our suite was spacious, clean, and well appointed. We had a suite with a pool and nice patio to relax and take in the beautiful property and the ocean. The property is beautiful and easy to navigate. The staff was friendly and was always eager to help. I want to give a special thanks to Laijai for a smooth check in process, to Anthony and Donna for providing assistance throughout our trip, and to Chaunte from concierge. The food at breakfast was delicious and had some good options to choose from but the service very slow if you order a la carte. The property is somewhat secluded, and you have to take a taxi if you want to experience local cuisine and activities. All in all, this was a great vacation, and I would definitely go back. "

"We had the absolute best time at the Abidah. The grounds were perfect. Loved the quaint neighborhood and the beach is 60 second walk away. You could walk right down to Oistins too for fun any night. It was totally perfect. Staff was so attentive and went above and beyond. Special shout out to Nikki at the front desk, Sharona, Kyle and Kristina in the dining room and Victor and Andreah at the bar. Truly Everyone was wonderful and We felt so spoiled and taken care of. And the chef was fantastic!!! Wonderful food and drinks all around. Fun music playing all the time. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and will be back one day! Thank you Abidah for the best honeymoon ever. "
