"This is a lovely well equiped property situated in a quiet area close enough to local shops to walk (through the beautiful vin yards) and beaches only a relatively short drive through lovely scenery. Wir bevorzugten als Strand die Côte Sauvage , aber auch die Strände entlang der Küste um Royan waren sehr gut zu erreichen. Der Vorteil , nicht direkt an der Küste zu wohnen: französische Lebensart abseits der Touristenmeilen zu erleben . Märkte , Cafés , Boulangerien, Feste , kleine Restaurants und Bistros , Kirchen und Abteien . Und natürlich speziell in der Region : Austern und andere Meeresfrüchte absolut...

"This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. After cognac tasting, going to the local farmers market, kayak races and wandering the lovely village of Jarnac we always looked forward to returning to our gite.
