"Nice property in a good location. Walkable into Lyon centre and back (be prepared for the climb!). Lots of buses available if you don't fancy the walk. Lovely having the outdoor space but unfortunately at this time of the year I was a tasty meal for the mosquitoes! Washing machine was very handy too, this being the second week of our two part holiday. Close to supermarkets and restaurants and the history of Croix-Rousse is very interesting. "The front desk is not 24/7. We arrived at 7pm and we have had to self check-in through a machine. The description of hotel mention it has a SPA as our benefit, but we did not find that and had no one to ask for. Note: they charge addition fee for after hour call."

"The hotel is very nice. It is well decorated, super well located, and it has a very nice vibe to it. The building is old, so there are a few things you should take into account: the elevator is small and slow, and halls are small and a bit inconvenient. But the rooms are big and well furnished, very clean, and very nice. The bathroom in my room was very spacey, and well equipped. The room itself had a balcony with a great view of the city, and very good heating. Breakfast was not outstanding, but it was more than good. Finally I should point out that the location is perfect, and very comfortable to walk or take public transport anywhere in the city. It is especially close to the old Lyon, which is great if you are visiting for tourism. In terms of parking, there is a parking garage right across the street from the hotel but I read it had bad reviews, so I used another by accident the river that was like 4 blocks away, but still very convenient. Parking an suv was not a problem there, although it was very expensive (this has nothing to do with the hotel of course, just a tip for others who might be looking into it). The bottom line is that the hotel was great and I would go back next time I’m in the city."
