"Pros….comfortable bed but pillows thin and bolster uncomfortable (we did not use) and duvet instead of throw…would be better. Exceptionally good shower, very clean, good washing facilities and outside space. Kitchen well kitted out. Cons…..tourist information very out of date and only in French. Heating boiler did not adequately heat house, on chilly evenings….we were firmly advised not to touch or alter settings…and apparently it was necessary for the owner to enter house to check on regular...

"Firstly, Vincent was an amazing host; he ensured we had everything needed, from facilities to knowledge of the local area and days out. The property was relaxing and homely, in a quiet area but not too far from shops, etc. The children enjoyed the pool, and the Varenda cover area made all the difference; regardless of the weather, we could be outside enjoying meals or games. without hesitation, we would stay again."

"This cottage was selected to provide a characterful property in the countryside where our extended family could come and have a clan gathering. Aided by faultless weather the cottage met our every need. So much so that we didn't do as much travelling in the area as we thought we might because we were quite happy at the cottage and it's environs. L'environnement du gîte est très calme et enchanteur, à deux pas de la petite ville de Lamballe mais aussi d'autres lieux de commodités (supermarchés, biscuiterie, boulangerie, restaurants...) ainsi qu'un lac autour duquel il est très agréable de se promener ou de faire un balade à vélo. "We booked and paid upfront for 7 nights. After the first night, we already left, because we were not satisfied at all with this accommodation. The ‘cottages’ are right next to each other with terraces that are separated by a wooden (removable) wooden screen, but if you are in your sleeping room, it feels as if the neighbours are sitting right under your window. We had to sleep with the window closed. The owner later blamed us for not discussing this first with the neighbours, with which it was...

"Nous avons passe une tres belle semaine en famille dans cette maison tres agreable et "cosy". Tres bien situee entre Lamballe, cite de caractere et les belles plages a 15 mins. Mr Lemoine a ete tres accomodant, malgre la machine a laver qui ne marchait plus a l'arrivee, il a tres vite trouve une solution et l'a remplace sans tarder. Nous recommandons beaucoup cette location pour de belles vacances."
