"Clément was very welcoming. The room was very simple but certainly adequate with all the basics, though the lighting could be improved. The evening meals were well-prepared and copious. The B&B is quiet and very well-located for visiting the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, which must be seen during any visit to La Réunion. I did feel that the health rules required by the pandemic were not adequately followed, and felt uncomfortable about that point. "

"Grandpa Pinpin was is the sweetest man I ever met. He runs the place and he keeps trying to communicate with you even if you don’t understand French. Coming from America, I truly appreciated the local experience, and his son was the first person that I actually was able to speak to in the outback of the Territory. Staying in this beautiful home in the fields of sugarcane to get a true experience. Also visit leader price market at the bottom of the street! "

J'ai été très bien reçu par Anita et Sylvain, qui se sont montrés arrangeants, sympathiques et agréables. Un grand merci pour votre accueil. Les lieux sont tops, les chambres propres et bien équipés, la piscine est un vrai plaisir et le secteur où se situe la villa est vraiment calme, avec une superbe vue. Je recommande fortement. "C’est un plaisir pour moi d’attribuer ces premières notes à cet établissement familial, où nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison.  Une grande chambre propre avec toilette et douche, récemment rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. "My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Des Mascareignes. We stayed in the Soufflé Austral room which had big open windows that looked out to the ocean, and double doors with a balcony where our hosts made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. There were screens you could use to get fresh air or use an AC unit which was great. We chose to eat a dinner here and it felt like we had a private chef, which was our host Audrey. Very delicious and home made food! The whole place was super clean...
