"We spent a lovely few days at La Peyriere, very relaxing and we manage to combine some lovely evenings by the fire with some long walks and trips to some amazing markets nearby. A great place to come if you want to have some time away from the day to day."

"The house is in a gorgeous and tranquil setting with lovely views across the garden and valley beyond. There is a lovely big garden with a nice (unheated) pool. There were lots of kids toys available which was perfect for our 2 year old. There were bikes which we used to cycle the pretty local roads (which were quite hilly, but I liked that...!) The kitchen in the house had everything you needed and all the appliances worked well. There wasnt a lot of space in the kitchen and lots of the rooms...

"A pleasing mix of old and new, perfectly situated to take in the sights of the Auvergne - a quiet retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. The owners were lovely, and gave us quite a tour and history of the property and region, as well as fruit from the garden and delicious home-made jam. We came upon a little restaurant in the tiny nearby village of Maleville, Les Mets d'Olivia, apparently not yet well known, where we enjoyed an evening of African food and music - what a treat."
