"Wonderful setting on a large vineyard and apricot farm. We chose this location as our home base for a 2 week vacation in Provence. We wanted to be halfway between Arles and Avignon, and drove all over Provence from here as well. Host Cécile is delightful. She offered us complete privacy and autonomy - the entrance and parking spot amongst the cypress trees are private - but we wanted to meet her and so glad that we did! Fascinating history and stories, and we learned how a vineyard works....

"There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"This place has plenty of room for up to six people, safe parking, a great view and many very good amenities (pool, kitchen, ping pong table, clothes washer). However, the English listing on VRBO needs to be updated and clearly outline the extra fees when on property. There is no air conditioning or clothes dryer (remove these from listing). "Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber, gut ausgestattet, sehr nette Vermieter und eine TOLLE Lage. Sie liegt in einem ruhigen Dorf, oben am Hang, mit einem schönen Blick ins Tal, im Hintergrund sieht man Uzes. Sie liegt zentral zwischen vielen großen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Pont du Gard, Avignon und Nimes, alle unter einer Stunde Fahrtzeit erreichbar. Aber auch unbekanntere Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Salamander Grotte (sehr empfehlenswert) oder der vielfältige Markt in Uzes...

"A very nice place to stay. Very private with no traffic noise. The property was to a very high standard and well equipped. Parking was very secure and easy. The swimming pool was wonderful, clean and a good temperature. It is set in a beautifully landscaped garden. Very nice hosts and a most enjoyable stay."
