"We would not hesitate to recommend this rental. Martine’s communications were always prompt and thorough. We particularly appreciated that she left us breakfast for our first morning having arrived in the early hours. Home made plum jam was such a treat. We were blessed with wonderful weather so made full use of the fabulous pool which Martine cared for, discreetly, every morning. It was nice to have a variety of sitting out areas. "Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"When we were arrived we were welcomed by the owner who showed us the house, the owner is very friendly and helpful. There was some confusion about the bed linnen and towels that are not included (although the advert says it is) costing an extra 14 Euro PP. The house itself is situated somewhat remote but in a very nice and quiet setting with pool and jacuzi and a large garden. The house itself needs some modernization but is practical. "

"The apartment was beautiful—exactly like the pictures shown. The whole apartment is modern with very nice kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for cooking—pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc. Our hosts, John Luc and Cathie were wonderful. They live on the property in a separate house but give you all the privacy you need. If we had a problem on how to work something, JL would respond immediately and come help us. We told him we’re interested in checking out the Pau area...

"We had a fantastic holiday! Our hosts were attentive, accommodating and engaged us in the local community. After a few hours we felt very much relaxed, welcomed and at home! It was brilliant swimmming everyday in the pool and the numerous sitting areas allowed you shade and/or panoramic sun! Our children loved the little river at the end of the lane and were mezmorised by the Dragonflies and lizards. The BBQ was brilliant and the local restaurants were fab! "The bedroom and bathroom were very small and basic but it was very clean and everything worked. The receptionist in particular made us very welcome and was extremely helpful. Dinner was good and was very reasonably priced. The room was overpriced."

"We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "
