"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Merci Fabien."

We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. "This is a lovely property surrounded by pleasant gardens and countryside. There is a great swimming pool which has an easy to use cover keeping the water temperature very comfortable. The houe is well equipped and there are plenty of outdoor chairs and loungers. It took us around 7 mins to drive to Anduze, a lovely little town with plenty of bars, shops and a supermarket. Guy, the owner is a very nice man with good English. We would love to return to this house."

La route qui borde le jardin est très peu passante donc on est vraiment au calme. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. Grande piscine idéale par fortes chaleurs. "An amazing place to stay. Very peaceful, with beautiful grounds and, of course, the clear river and its many pools for bathing. "This villa is very well equipped. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.Not always possible to find an en suite on the ground floor for a 92 year old! Quiet location. Beautiful scenery. The only slight annoyance, no towels, so come prepared! Luckily our friends living nearby provided us with them! Would recommend this villa which has the bonus of a swimming pool, for the warmer weather, boules area and table tennis space. Thank you Jean Michael Michaud for providing a welcoming home!! "
